Caring For Your Aluminum Lipstick Mold
As soon as your lipstick mold arrives coat the insides of the cavities with oil (olive, coconut or any cooking oil) and also after each use.
The oil prevents moisture from the air from degrading the aluminum. Never wash in soap and water, water will degrade the aluminum.
To clean, use a soft cloth or q‐tips.
There are two screws on the lipstick mold which you may remove to make cleaning easier.
